SWGANTH is currently working to have draft guidelines as well as final documents (when approved) translated into Spanish and posted on this website. Look for them soon!
At the January 2010 meeting, SWGANTH created a Proficiency Test Review Committee. The Committee will work with a potential vendor to develop an appropriate and commercially-available proficiency testing program for forensic anthropology laboratories. Anyone interested in participating should contact Committee Chair John Byrd, or email a request to secretary@swganth.org.
Guideline drafts are being posted as they are completed and approved by Committee Chairs. Please check the Guidelines page periodically to view recent additions. Numerous additional drafts (and edited drafts) are expected to be posted prior to the AAFS meeting in February.
SWGANTH will be presenting a block of papers at the 2010 AAFS meeting in Seattle. The session, which will run from 3:15 - 5:30 pm on Thursday, February 25th, will include SWGANTH goals, committee findings, and a discussion.
